Carrier Call is a privately held company with strong financial background, founded in 2002 by management with detailed knowledge and long term experience in the international telecommunication and information technology industry.

Martin Christen

Martin has a background as billing director at COLT Telecom Switzerland and for COLT Ltd. southern regions. As responsible for the retail and wholesale billing part of COLT Switzerland, he was the driver for full automation and integration of the complex, heterogeneous billing platform. With a team of skilled developers, he built a first framework of OSS and BSS solutions for COLT Telecom.
Prior to the management position at COLT, Martin worked as management consultant for the telecom industry at ATAG Ernst & Young in Switzerland. Martin holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University for applied sciences in Bern / Switzerland. Martins credentials also include a Master Diploma for Software engineering and development from the University for applied sciences in Bern / Switzerland.
Martin is fluent in English and German.

Markus R. Wehinger

Markus has a background as managing director and member of the board of COLT Telecom Switzerland. He was responsible for infrastructure and services of Data and Voice Network, IP Engineering, IT department and Billing Engineering. He also served as  IT Director for the southern region of COLT Ltd.  Under his leadership he drove the integration and automation of the complex IP and PSTN based networks.
Prior to COLT Telecom, he was Global IT Director / CIO for The Fantastic Corporation and responsible for the worldwide communication and IT infrastructure. Markus holds several diplomas in IT technology, management,  development and security.
Markus is fluent in English and German.

Ing. Claudia Toth

Claudia has several years of experience in the telecom business, working as Carrier Relations Manager for international Carriers (COLT and eTel), as well as in the position of International Roaming Manager for the mobile operator ONE in Austria. She started working in the telecommunications industry in 2000 after graduating from HTL Vienna XXII for Electronic Data Processing & Organisation, with special focus on commercial data processing. Claudia's ability to listen and understand complex requirements combined with her in-depth knowledge and understanding of the complete Carrier Relations process (purchasing, negotiations, LCR, calculations, sales) will help our customers in the successful implementation of even the most complex processes and projects.
Claudia is fluent in English and German.

Dr. Peter A. Pircher (Advisory Board)

Peter has held senior management positions in a variety of technology organizations from startups in the US and Europe to Venture Capital funds. Past positions in the US included VP of R&D and CTO for Silicon Valley based technology companies. Peter was instrumental in introducing model driven development methods and tools. In Europe his responsibilities have included VP of Technology for a European Venture Fund, as Senior VP of Technology and CTO for a publicly held European Company and as independent consultant.
Peter has more than 20 years of enterprise technology expertise, proven management skills and an extensive industry network. Having worked in pre-and post IPO companies and venture funds make him well positioned to advice Carrier Call on technology and business strategies and implementation.
Besides numerous articles on software development methods and processes Peter also co-authored a book on Data Broadcasting.
Peter received a PhD in Computer Science and a MS in Mathematics from the University of Zurich and was a Research Fellow at the University of California in San Francisco.
Peter is fluent in English, German and French.
